Residents and organizations are invited to submit their events for inclusion on the calendar. To ensure your event is eligible for posting, please note the following:

  • Events must be properly permitted. If your event requires a parish permit, please obtain approval before submitting it.
  • Attach event details – Include flyers, graphics, or any additional information to help promote your event.
  • Community-focused – Events must be open to the public.

53rd Annual Fall Festival

The River Road Historical Society, operating as Destrehan Plantation, is excited to invite you to the 53rd Annual Fall Festival Fundraiser! This family-friendly event will be held on the beautiful grounds of Destrehan Plantation, located at 13034 River Road, Destrehan, Louisiana on November 8-9, 2025.
Visitors will enjoy a unique shopping experience with over 175 arts and crafts booths featuring talented vendors offering handcrafted items such as fine art, seasonal decor, pottery, desserts, spices, woodcrafts, jewelry, clothing, toys, candles, and home-grown plants.
For antique lovers, our historic Mule Barn is a treasure trove, featuring distinctive pieces from antique dealers across Louisiana.
Children will have a blast with pony rides, face painting, hair glitter, fall-themed arts and crafts, and the exciting bungee jump.
Take a break and savor a variety of southern-style meals and ethnic food at our food court. Beverage options include sodas, water, beer, wine, and our signature Plantation Punch.
Relax in the picnic area and enjoy live music performances throughout the weekend.
Entertainment Lineup:
Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition, Saturday, November 8th, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Peyton Falgoust Band, Sunday, November 9th, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Admission for a full day is $8 per adult and teen, free for children 12 and under.
Guided Tours of our historical home are $15 per person and free for children 12 and under.
Tours are offered every 30 minutes with the first tour of the day beginning at 9:30 am and the last tour of the day beginning at 4:00 pm.
Parking on our property is free. There is also parking available on the levee and Bridge Park. Ride share services like Lyft and Uber are available to and from the festival.
