Grayson Touchard, a resident of St. Charles Parish, has been named Assistant Director of Public Relations for the Department of Parks and Recreation. She will be responsible for managing all communications for the department and bridging the gap between residents and the Department.

Grayson brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the Department of Parks and Recreation, and we look forward to the positive impact she will make.”
Touchard joins the Department of Parks and Recreation with more than six years of experience in communications, including experience working in sports. Participating in St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation at a young age, Touchard went on to play soccer at William Carey University, becoming the first college athlete in her family. She received her bachelor's degree in communications and a master’s in sports management from Louisiana State University.
Before returning to St. Charles Parish, Touchard worked at Kenner Discovery, handling logistics and operations for school and community events. She also worked for the TJC Group as its Social Media/Marketing Manager in Baton Rouge, and interned for the New Orleans Pelicans and the New Orleans Jesters when completing her undergraduate degree.
