The RESTORE Act Multiyear Implementation Plan- Amendment #1 is now available for public review on the St. Charles Parish website. The objective of this plan includes projects aimed at enhancing recreational access to the proposed Des Allemands Boat Launch, located along Bayou Des Allemands. 

The proposed project includes a new limestone access road with drainage improvements, a paved parking lot with up to 60 parking spaces, two paved access roads on either side of the parking lot, four concrete boat launch ramps, two fishing piers and two concrete walkways. The Grants Office is seeking over $500,000 in RESTORE Direct Component funds for the construction costs. 

Residents can review and comment on this plan from Sept. 5, 2024, to Oct. 21, 2024. The plan is viewable online at www.stcharlesparish.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/12491 or in person at the St. Charles Parish Grants Office. All comments must be submitted in writing to the following address:
