Parish President Matthew Jewell signed an executive order to close all government buildings and the St. Charles Parish Courthouse on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, due to the arctic blast and prolonged below freezing temperatures in St. Charles Parish. River Birch Renewable Energy has also suspended residential trash collection on Wednesday, January 22.
