As of 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, CC Road is open to traffic between River Road and Airline Highway.
UPDATE 8/14/2025:
The Road Closure has been extended on Northbound & Southbound LA 628 (CC Rd), just north of Vickers Lane & the Railroad Crossing, until Friday, August 22 until
10:00 PM, weather permitting. This is a full road closure.
Beginning Monday, August 4, 2025, at 6:00 a.m., the northbound and southbound lanes of LA-628 (CC Road) in Montz will be fully closed between US-61 (Airline Highway) and LA-628 (River Road). This closure is necessary to accommodate construction at Montz No. 1 Pump Station.
This continuous full road closure will remain in effect through Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10:00 p.m., weather permitting. Residents are advised to use alternate routes, including US-61, LA-3217, or River Road.
