Parish President Jewell, Parish Council Members, and local elected officials invite the community to celebrate the start of work on the upcoming $10 million drainage improvement in Destrehan. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at 110 Ducayet Drive in Destrehan. 

This project will increase water flow beneath the CN Railroad to Destrehan 2 Pump Station and provide long-overdue drainage relief in the Ormond area.
