Beginning Monday, January 26, 2026, to Friday, March 13, 2026, the northbound and southbound lanes of Hwy 628 (CC Road) in Montz will be fully closed between the KCS railroad and Hwy 61. This closure is necessary to drive sheet piling along the edge of the road and to drive batter piles. 

Residents will be able to use Hwy 628 from KCS railroad to the spillway road and River Road. Haul trucks, Cembell Industries, and Vickers Lane residents will need to use the Spillway Road or River Road.
