The Des Allemands Boat Launch under US-90 will close at noon on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, to prepare for Potential Tropical Cyclone #1. Boaters who choose to launch on Wednesday morning are asked to be out of the water by noon so the Department of Public Works can install the stoplogs across the boat launch.

The launch will reopen once the water subsides and it is safe to do so.
