This year’s 36th Annual July 3rd Celebration will take place on Friday, July 3, from 4:30-9:00 p.m. at West Bank Bridge Park in Luling. There will be food for purchase, live entertainment starting at 5:00 p.m., and a fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.
The West Bank Bridge Park, Trailhead, and the parking lot near the levee at the Mississippi River will be closed to the public at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, to prepare for the 36th Annual Independence Day Celebration.
I-310 southbound and northbound off-ramps to River Road (LA 18) will be closed 15 minutes before the fireworks and throughout the show, and River Road (LA 18) will be closed from Ashton Road to the School Board Office for the duration of the fireworks show until the all-clear is given. The State Fire Marshal ordered that no one be allowed to enter or leave the park up to 30 minutes before and after the fireworks show.
Pets, glass bottles, confetti, and poppers are also not allowed in West Bank Bridge Park. No alcohol will be sold at the event. Residents may bring their own ice chests and folding chairs.
Additionally, all St. Charles Parish Government Buildings will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Monday, July 6, at our regular operating hours. Trash Services will take place as scheduled on Friday, July 3rd.
