Beginning Monday, July 27, 2026, to August 11, 2026, both northbound and southbound lanes of LA-628 (CC Road) in Montz will be fully closed. This closure is necessary for the construction of Montz No. 1 Pump Station, where discharge pipes will be installed across CC Road. Additionally, there will be a coinciding road closure at the Montz No. 2 Pump Station construction site from July 27, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

Sealevel Construction will remove the entire roadbed; therefore, no emergency vehicles will be able to pass through. Emergency access will need to detour through the Spillway, Evangeline Road, or LA-3217.
