The Coastal Zone Management Section of the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning and Zoning is responsible for coordinating responsible development and restoration of St. Charles Parish’s most plentiful natural resource, wetlands.

The CZM works with various state and federal agencies, as well as private landowners, to facilitate the funding, permitting and construction of coastal restoration projects throughout St. Charles Parish and our surrounding watersheds.
