Procurement Office
Utilizing cost effective methods, the Procurement Department works with all departments across parish government to acquire goods, services, equipment, and supplies that are needed to provide quality and responsive government services for our residents.
This Department is also responsible for administering public auctions on behalf of Parish departments, selling surplus movable property in accordance with Louisiana R.S. 33:4711, et. seq. Typically, four auctions are held each year, although the number of auctions may vary, depending on the need. Electronic Procurement: Beginning June 1, 2026, St. Charles Parish will no longer accept physical/manual bid submissions. These submissions will only be accepted electronically via the Parish's e-Procurement system, Central Bidding. Submitting electronic bids is secure and free of charge. Central Bidding can be accessed by visiting www.centralauctionhouse.com. All vendors will be required to register with Central Bidding via following link: www.centralauctionhouse.com/SignUp
Bidders should read and must comply with all specific instructions and announcements pertaining to each bid. Until June 1, 2026, bidders may hand deliver or use mail as alternative methods of bid submissions. However, effective June 1, 2026, all bid submissions will only be accepted via Central Bidding.
